How to play
How to play
Phones out of reach, choose the mood for the evening: Closeness to laugh and learn about each other, Romance to win each other over again, Thrills for desire (adults only). Nothing stops you starting with one and ending with another.
- One of you draws a card and reads it out loud.
- You both play it, taking turns when the card says so.
- Any card can be skipped, no explanation needed. Just draw another.
- In Thrills, start with "The green light" and finish with "Afterwards".
The golden rules
- No logistics. No children, bills or work: whoever brings them up does the washing up.
- Tease, yes. Hurt, never. You laugh with each other, not at each other.
- No means no. You can say no without explaining, and the other accepts it without sulking.
Allow 20 to 45 minutes. Three cards are enough for a lovely evening, and some play out over several days.
Before you play
Each of you says in one sentence what you fancy tonight, and what you would rather avoid. Then pick a slightly silly stop word, say “artichoke”: if either of you says it, the card is set aside, no questions asked, and you move on to the next one laughing.

Do we need an account?
No. You buy without an account: the link in your email is all you need to play.
How long does a game last?
From 10 minutes to a whole evening, depending on the game. The number of cards is shown on each page.
Are the cards crude?
No. The tone stays elegant. Spicier levels are clearly marked and for adults only, and you can always skip a card.
Do we keep the game after buying it?
Yes. The order link gives you permanent access to the online game.
