How to play

Sixteen vouchers to give, print or send. Tender, funny, practical or a little naughty, each one says when and how to use it.

1. Choose the vouchers you give. Leave out any that don’t feel like you, and personalise the rest.
2. The receiver keeps their vouchers and cashes one in whenever they like, by handing it over or showing it on their phone.
3. The voucher is honoured within seven days, unless it says otherwise, no haggling.

Golden rule

A voucher once used is never brought up later as a debt. And for the more intimate ones, both of you have to be in the mood: “not tonight” is always an answer.

Before you play

Each of you says in one sentence what you fancy tonight, and what you would rather avoid. Then pick a slightly silly stop word, say “artichoke”: if either of you says it, the card is set aside, no questions asked, and you move on to the next one laughing.
